From a scooter in Indonesia to the heart of Queenstown: Our journey began in 2010 during a scooter trip through the hidden backroads of Indonesia. Far off the beaten track, we discovered a pair of striking two-metre bronze cranes. They were exactly what we had been searching for - pieces with a scale and character simply unavailable back home in New Zealand. That discovery sparked a lasting partnership with local artisans. After careful research, we curated our first collection, and the response exceeded our wildest expectations. It was clear that others shared our passion for these unique finds, but we knew that to truly do them justice, we needed a space as special as the pieces themselves.
A living, breathing vision: Our home, ‘Muddy Hill’, has been a journey of its own. While the outdoor spaces are now beautifully established, we believe a garden is never truly finished. We are constantly seeking out unique pieces that enhance our environment - not just as decorations, but as invitations to pause, breathe and enjoy the moment.
